Le Groupe Jenaco’s expertise in high-rise buildings will once again be put to good use in the Evolo Nex project, which is aiming to achieve LEED certification. The building mechanics company will be doing the plumbing and gas work for this 27-storey building comprising 274 condominium units. This project completes the prestigious real estate complex in the Pointe-Nord district of L’Île-des-Sœurs initiated by the Corporation Proment.

“It is with great pride that we undertake this new contract, which adds to all the other buildings constructed in this sector. This confirms the quality and reliability of our building mechanics services over the years and nurtures our close collaboration with the promoter,” said the founder and president of Le Groupe Jenaco, Jean Turgeon. “This contract also allows us to establish a first major collaboration with the general contractor Pomerleau,” he added.

The latter will act as prime contractor for this project, which should begin in March 2023 and be completed by the end of 2024. Among the other professional firms involved in the realization of this large-scale project are Jean-Pierre Bart (architect), Desjardins Expert-Conseil (engineers) and TST Energy Systems Inc (LEED certification). Le Groupe Jenaco will deploy a team of fifteen pipefitters.

It should be noted that the building mechanics company has been involved in the construction of most of the buildings in this vast real estate project in one of the rare North American neighborhoods to have been certified LEED ND Gold with the objective of providing a quality living environment for residents.
