LE GROUPE JENACO has been contracted to do the plumbing and gas work for the new MYX Condos project, located in the Pointe-Nord district of Nun’s Island. This new 7-storey L-shaped building includes 196 one, two, or three bedroom units.

“It is very rewarding for our entire organization to participate in these projects that contribute to a special atmosphere in an entire sector on Nun’s Island,” said founder and president Jean Turgeon, who went on to add: “Each project poses new challenges and requires that we always improve our ways of doing things.

This new real estate project, located just minutes from Montréal, brings together the promoter Corporation Proment, principal contractor for the entire Pointe-Nord district, the general contractor Groupe Constructions Reliance, and LE GROUPE JENACO.

This project allows us to continue working in close collaboration with each other,” said the president of the South Shore firm, recognized for its professionalism in building mechanics projects and its expertise in high-rise buildings.

Starting in the spring of 2019, a team of ten people from LE GROUPE JENACO will be assigned to this 24-month project. It will also be a first collaboration with the Montréal engineering firm Dupras Ledoux, which has been in business since 1958.

The Myx Condos project is Scandinavian inspired with an open concept layout. The common areas on the roof give access to a breathtaking view of Montréal and the river.
